Allen Waters on Immigration

A foe of illegal immigration and of sanctuary cities

To begin with, Waters bills himself as a "moderate" with "mainstream American values." He tells me he is "not a socialist" and he is a supporter of "free enterprise, individual liberty, and personal responsibility." Waters is a foe of illegal immigration and of sanctuary cities and is a supporter of law enforcement and the Second Amendment. He is also pro-Israel.

Opposes sanctuary cities

Waters identified himself as a conservative Democrat from Mashpee and said he is running for the Republican nomination to combat "50 years of liberal failure on poverty" and to "protect our American culture." He explained he is conservative on many issues, including gun rights, abortion, and the idea of "sanctuary cities," a term used to describe a community that limits its cooperation with the federal government when it comes to enforcing immigration laws.
