Chris Lugo on Free Trade
Q: Do you support the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT)?
Q: Do you support continued U.S. membership in the World Trade Organization (WTO)?
Q: Should a nation's human rights record affect its normal trade relations status with the US?
Q: Should trade agreements include provisions to address environmental concerns and to protect workers' rights?
A: Oppose. I support withdrawal of the United States from treaties of obligation which support free trade policies, including the Free Trade Area of the Americas, Central American Free Trade Agreement and North American Free Trade Agreement. I support policies which encourage fair trade, local production, sustainable production, job creation and pay a living wage.
